Standard Rides

A Standard Ride is a record or a ride the Driver took in a Vehicle to and from Locations. Records in Standard Ride are records imported from the GPS Recorder Panel or manually entered that is part of the reporting purpose you are using MileReg for. For example, the Standard Rides panel could be the report used to calculate business miles for tax deductions, or the various rides your delivery employees made.

To use MileReg you need to know how to use the editing buttons . Click here to see the editing button functionality.

Click the Standard Rides tab and add or edit an entry checking or filling in the following information:

  1. Code: A unique identifier for this ride.
  2. Ride.Flag: .
  3. Ride.From.Location: Typically this is the starting point of the Standard Ride. Click the drop down arrow to select a Location that has already been entered.
  4. Ride.From.Address: Once you select a Location this should be entered automatically or you can manually fill it in.
  5. This is the City, State and Zip Code for Ride.From.Address and should also appear automatically once a Location is selected.
  6. Latitude, Longitude and Radius of the Location - should appear automatically once a Location is selected.
  7. Ride.To.Location: Typically this is the ending point of the Standard Ride. Click the drop down arrow to select a Location that has already been entered.
  8. Ride.To.Address: Once you select a Location this should be entered automatically or you can manually fill it in.
  9. This is the City, State and Zip Code for Ride.To.Address and should also appear automatically once a Location is selected.
  10. Latitude, Longitude and Radius of the Location - should appear automatically once a Location is selected.
  11. Ride.Distance: Total distance of the ride.
  12. Ride.Personal: .
  13. Ride.Odo.Price: .
  14. Ride.Charge: .
  15. Click OK.

Once these values have been entered you have set up a Standard Ride in the system.
